How app and website data are handled.

Scuba Tank Stickers is a local-first mobile app for creating, saving, and printing scuba cylinder labels.

Information Stored On Your Device

The app stores operational information locally on your device:

  • saved sticker history
  • sticker defaults such as owner name, units, date format, and branding footer
  • label settings such as size and DPI
  • configured Zebra printer details for local Wi-Fi or Bluetooth printing
  • first-run safety notice acknowledgement

Information Sent Off Device

Scuba Tank Stickers does not require an account. Sticker history and user profiles stay on your device.

To monitor reliability and fix defects, the app may send limited crash and diagnostic information, such as the app version, device and operating-system version, and technical error context. This data is used for debugging and product reliability, not advertising or cross-app tracking.

When you print, the app sends the label print job only to the Zebra printer you configure, using your local network or Bluetooth connection.

When you use gas analyzer OCR, captured images and recognized text stay on the device. The app does not upload analyzer photos for cloud OCR.

Crash And Diagnostic Data

The app may use a diagnostics service to receive crash and technical error reports. Diagnostic data is limited to what is needed to investigate failures and improve app reliability. It is not used to build advertising profiles or track activity across other companies' apps and websites.

Data Control

Because app data is stored locally, deleting the app removes local app data unless your device restores it from a platform backup.

Website Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand visits, page use, device and browser types, and approximate location derived from network information. Depending on its configuration, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers.

We use this information to improve website content, usability, and reliability. Website measurement is not combined with sticker history stored in the app.

Website Contact Form

If you use the website contact form, we collect the name you choose to provide, your email address, your selected role, and your message so we can reply to your support question or product feedback. Submissions are delivered by email to the Scuba Tank Stickers support inbox.

We keep only the information reasonably needed to handle the conversation, minimize what we request, and do not use contact-form submissions for advertising, analytics, cross-site tracking, or an account profile.

To request deletion of a contact-form submission or ask a privacy question, emailsupport@scubatankstickers.com from the address used in the submission.
